This is a brand new remote controlled motorized HDTV/VHF/UHF/FM super high gain outdoor antenna. The AX-660 hdtv antenna comes with a built-in rotor (motor), which can turn a full 360 degrees using the infrared remote control included in the package. This is the perfect solution for any rural or suburban area because it can pick up signals for up to 100 miles with it's high UHF gain of up to 36dB. Since the antenna can be aimed in any particular direction, you will be able to pick up TV signals much better than with a regular fixed or rabbit ears antenna. This is because directional antennas are more focused so it can have a higher dB gain. The higher the gain, the better it is for picking up signals.

Please note that the red tip at the end of the pictured antenna is no longer in the 2010 version of this antenna.

This unit is easy to install. Only a small 1" diameter mounting pole is needed. Although the pole is not included, it can be easily purchased at any hardware store. Customers who have purchased this unit have been very pleased with the results. Many customers have ordered multiple antennas after their initial purchase because the reception is so great.

Easy Installation

Assemble the antenna as diagramed from step A to H
Use a ��Eiron pipe to install the antenna. For best reception, put the antenna at the highest point of your roof or at a space that has a clear and open view.
Connect the hdtv antenna using the included RG6 cable to the central control unit ANT IN port. The control signal will go through the cable to rotate the antenna.
Connect the control unit TV OUT to your TV RF input.
Connect the power adapter to the control unit
Scan Channels from your TV menu and use the remote to rotate the antenna to get the best reception.

This antenna is the perfect solution for customers wanting to view free HD channels. Most all of our customers in large media markets receive over 30 digital channels. This high definition antenna is made for the new digital broadcasts because it has a higher UHF gain and most of the high definition broadcasts over UHF.

You can use your existing RG6 coaxial cable or you can use the 30 feet provided in the package.

Old coaxial cables from satellite dishes, antenna towers towers, cable TV and more will work with this antenna but we would recommend using our cable if it is possible.

You can install the antenna anywhere.

Install it on the roof or in the attic. It does not need an external power supply. The antenna receives power from the control box via the coaxial cable. The antenna needs only one wire to provide power and picture.

You can install the hd antenna outside, up to 200 feet away, or in the attic.

Customers in cold Winter areas or extreme winds may install the hdtv antenna inside their attic and still receive a great signal quality.

This outdoor hdtv antenna will support multiple TV sets.

The control box has 2 TV outputs, and with a simple splitter you can add up to 8 TVs. Almost no other antenna on the market has this feature.

Color Zone Best use Antenna Types

Yellow Small Omni/Multi-directional antenna is required in a yellow zone. Yellow zone is where the reception conditions are the best and the signal level is very high. Typically, the yellow color code area is very close to the transmitting tower. Although the color coding is used to classify outdoor antennas only, if you are in the yellow area there is a good chance that an indoor HDTV antenna (and even better an amplified indoor antenna) will work very well. Green Medium Omni/Multi-directional antenna is required in a green zone. In a green color code area the signal is slightly weaker and a bit larger antenna is required. The signal in a green area may be strong enough to try an amplified indoor HD antenna if you have one. Remember, however, that with an indoor antenna nothing is guaranteed. Light Green Amplified and rooftop mounted Large Omni/Multi-directional or Small Directional antennas are needed in a light green zone. These antennas are capable of receiving weaker HDTV signals when no significant multipath (ghost) conditions exist, i.e no reflective structures nearby. Best antenna typeA-700 I A-230

Red In vicinity of the reflective structures, Medium Directional antenna type is the best for red, light green, green and yellow color zones.
